Educator Apprenticeship Program

Fill your need for qualified teachers by partnering with Franklin’s School of Education to create an apprenticeship program in your school or district.

Ohio’s Teacher Apprenticeship model is designed to provide an additional career pathway for aspiring educators by strengthening partnerships between higher education institutions and K-12 schools and their communities. Apprentices work in classrooms with mentor teachers to gain on-the-job experience while completing related instruction at Franklin University to become a fully licensed teacher.
