STEM-Designated Degree & Certificate Programs

Expand Your Career Options with a STEM-Designated Degree Program

If you have an interest in or aptitude for science and math, an online STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) degree could be a great option for you. As reliance on technology and data becomes more prevalent in every industry, demand for individuals with STEM expertise, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills continues to grow.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, STEM professionals enjoy both increased earnings – more than double the median income – and increased job opportunities, with science and technology jobs growing nearly 80% over the last 30 years.

A bachelor’s or a master’s degree in STEM can open the door to roles that will enable you to innovate in your field. In addition, if you are an international student who chooses to study in the U.S., you may be able to extend your Occupational Practical Training (OPT) by an additional 24 months by choosing one of Franklin’s programs, which have been STEM-designated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
