You can earn your applied doctorate at Franklin in as few as three years — including your dissertation. Finish even faster (and save money) when you transfer up to 33 previously earned credit hours. About a third of doctoral students in the Ed.D., DBA and DHA programs have used Franklin’s generous transfer credit to their advantage.  

If a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is your goal, you’re able to transfer up to 12 credits into the DNP-Leadership program and up to nine in any of the nurse practitioner programs.

We’ll help you maximize your transfer credit from previously earned doctoral coursework. In addition, if you earned over 30 credits as part of your master’s degree, you may be able to apply credit toward elective requirements in business, healthcare, instructional design or education.
