Judge Terri Jamison Scholarship for Single Parents

You are invited to apply for the Judge Terri Jamison Scholarship for Single Parents. Must be a single parent pursuing a major in criminal justice as a working adult.

Must embody Judge Jamison’s spirit of community service, social consciousness and leadership to empower families that are marginalized to develop autonomy.

Judge Jamison and two Franklin University employees will be the committee to review scholarship essays and rate to determine who the awardees are.

General Scholarship Requirements:

  • Single Parent
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be a Criminal Justice Student
  • Franklin employees are not eligible to apply (excludes Work Study students)
  • Submit a 250 word typed essay answering the questions
    • How will you use your criminal justice degree to impact the community?
    • What changes would you like to see in the criminal justice system?

Application Deadline:  Sept 6, 2024

By submitting the application and essay, your information will be emailed to the Financial Aid Office.
