Kris Wilson is the Chief Information Officer and Assistant Administrator for the Hawaii Health Systems (HHSC) East Hawaii region on the Big Island of Hawaii. HHSC East Hawaii region encompasses a flagship 157-bed acute medical facility, two critical access hospitals, and eight ambulatory clinics. In addition to managing Information Technology, Kris is also responsible for the overall management the capital improvement projects and facility operations. Kris has a technical degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in Radiological Science and is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (RT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), & Computed Tomography (CT). Kris also has a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management, a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, and a PhD in Health Science. Kris is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
