Profile

Dr. Steve Martin has over 25 years of working experience, primarily helping organizations to better use technology to achieve their strategic business goals. As a consultant and trainer in his own professional practice, Dr. Martin partners heavily with senior leadership teams on strategy, change management, organizational culture, systems thinking (i.e., the holistic organization), and Agile practices and mindsets. Dr. Martin’s passion is to help organizations achieve better outcomes through enabling greater organizational agility. Steve has worked in multiple industries, including finance, biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare, insurance, entertainment, travel, publishing, and more.

Dr. Martin earned his Doctorate of Business Administration from Franklin University on the topic of Culture of Control and its Relationship to Successful Large Scale Agile Transformations. Dr. Martin also has an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from Suffolk University, MS in Automation Engineering from Cal State Northridge, and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Dr. Martin has also been an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University as part of the MS in Project Management program, and currently holds the PMP and PMI-ACP credentials from the Project Management Institute. Lastly, Dr. Martin is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and Certified Agile Leadership (CAL) Educator with the Scrum Alliance, teaching certification courses on Scrum (CSM, CSPO, A-CSM) and leadership in agile organizations.
