Profile
Jeffrey Ferezan currently serves as an adjunct faculty instructing Managerial Psychology and the gateway course, Intro to Psychology for Franklin University’s Master of Science in Business Psychology degree. Franklin University is a Columbus, OH based university and he delivers these courses in the on-line format. Additionally, he instructs Organizational Systems Perspectives Theory and Application, Development of Management Theory and Practice, Change Management and Organizational Development, as well as the Grad Colloquium II, in the Doctoral of Business Administration program. In the Doctoral of Educational Leadership program, he instructs the Leadership of Organizational Resources, Initiatives and Performances course. He serves 24 doctoral learners, as a faculty advisor to 6, a dissertation committee member to 9, and a committee chair to 9. He is a certified Instructional Practices Coach for newly hired faculty and instructs the Doctoral Teaching and Advising course and the Teaching Effectively in Higher Education course. A 2015 recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award. Additionally, he was the recipient of the Robert L. Bailey Teaching Award at the 2016 Commencement ceremony, being selected by graduating students as the graduate faculty member who had the most noteworthy influence on their educational experience. Nominated in 2019 by 3 students, for the Service Excellence Recognition Award, recognizing faculty and staff for outstanding faculty/student interactions. Spring 2020 and Fall 2020, named to the Provost’s List, recognizing, and celebrating those who exceeded the teaching excellence standards based on valued student feedback. Named to the 20+ CLUB, recognizing and celebrating faculty, staff, and adjunct faculty who have reached 20 years of service at Franklin University. Serves as an MBA Advisory Board Member and also is an M.S. in Business Psychology Advisory Board Member. Inaugural recipient of the 2022 Instructional Coach of the Year Award. He has served as an adjunct full professor within the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology at Webster University. He had oversight for the Strategy and Competition course, the Capstone course in the MBA Program (Ranked # 1 in St. Louis, MO), as well as Corporate Responsibility and Society, Marketing and Business Communication and Technology. He also instructs courses offered in the Master of Arts in Leadership curriculum; Integrated Studies in Management, the Capstone course in the Management and Leadership Program, Organizational Development and Change as well as Managerial Leadership. He served as an instructor for the Capstone course in the Master of Arts in Procurement and Acquisitions Management Program. He has taught both face to face and on-line. Additionally, he previously accepted a team appointment to provide support to both faculty and students in an advisory capacity at the campus center. The programs at Webster University Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, AZ extended campus are designed to accommodate the needs of working adults whose career goals and professional growth require the skills and knowledge provided by a graduate degree. Founded in 1915, Webster University (St. Louis) has been at the forefront of adult education. Recognized as a national leader, Webster University is known for its innovative programs in military graduate education, in international education, and as a significant provider of adult education. Approved courses to instruct as an adjunct associate professor at Park University/Luke Air Force Center include Senior Seminar in Management, Principles of Management, International Business Perspectives and has taught Business Policy, the Capstone course in the Business Administration program. International Business, Advanced Corporate Finance and Advanced Seminar in International Marketing in the MBA program (Ranked #1 in Kansas City, MO) are also courses he instructs on-line. He serves in the Graduate School of Business as a Peer Evaluator. The Parkville, MO based campus on Luke AFB in Glendale, AZ is a part of the School of Extended Learning. Ferezan serves as an Instructional Specialist, Sr. at the Tempe Campus of Arizona State University. He provides support, guidance and mentoring governed by NCAA guidelines, for the Student Athlete Development division of the athletic department. Developed the leadership program currently enrolling excelling scholar athletes. JMF INC. is Ferezan’s global consulting company he founded over 30 years ago. He continues to consult industry in improving organizational performance. Most recently in the higher education field, Ferezan served as Vice President of Initiatives at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College (27,000 curriculum and non-curriculum students) in Asheville, NC. He held positions as Associate Vice President for Community and Legislative Relations, Interim COO, as well as Dean of Campus Outreach and Dean of Student Success and Advocacy at Northwest State Community College (7,500 curriculum and non-curriculum students) in Archbold, OH. Prior to these positions, he served as the Program Chair (2,000 students) of the Business Administration program within the Ross School of Management and Leadership, the largest program at Franklin University (10,000 students) in Columbus, Ohio. He has also served as the Director of the Graduate School of Business (1,200 students), providing leadership for the largest MBA program in central Ohio. In addition, he has also served as faculty administrator and adjunct faculty in the Ross School of Management and Leadership. His career in business began at IBM Corporation where he worked for the number one office worldwide and achieved worldwide salesperson of the year honors. Before joining Franklin, Ferezan spent thirteen years as the founding principal of a global consulting firm and nine years as the Vice President and Managing Partner of an executive search, recruitment, and outplacement firm. Ferezan attended Wake Forest University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Industrial Marketing and Management from the Williamson School of Business Administration at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. He earned his MBA in International Management and Finance from the Ross College of Management and Leadership at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. He earned his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Leadership Skills and Systems with a specialization in higher education at Union Institute & University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Was a scholarship recipient from the Foundation at Union Institute and University, awarded for research recognized in making a valuable contribution to the field of study.
