Profile

With more than 30 years of education, human resources and healthcare experience, Dr. Kim Campbell currently serves as the Director of Enrollment Management for Mount Carmel College of Nursing, one of the largest nursing programs in the state of Ohio with more than 1,000 students. Her areas of higher education responsibility are vast and include all strategic student recruitment planning and processing for prospective students from initial contact until student matriculation. Mount Carmel College of Nursing, a subsidiary of Mount Carmel Health System and Trinity Health System, offers both undergraduate and graduate nursing education programs ranging from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science to the Doctor of Nursing Practice. Prior to serving in this role, she held leadership roles at I KNOW I CAN, Cleveland State University, Bowling Green State University and The University of Toledo. In addition to her responsibilities at Mount Carmel, she currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member and Doctoral Advisor at Franklin University in the College of Business, with emphasis in Human Resources, where she received the Robert L Bailey Teaching Award. Dr. Campbell is a graduate of The University of Toledo, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communications and a master’s degree in human resource development/educational technology. Dr. Campbell also earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Education with a specialization in Training and Performance Improvement from Capella University. A dedicated community leader and advocate, Dr. Campbell currently serves as a member of the Harmony Project and is a Certified Tourism Ambassador for Experience Columbus. Dr. Campbell is also past Chair of the board of trustees for The Breathing Association and is a Trustee for Prevent Blindness of Ohio. She is a member of the Ohio Association for College Admission Counseling, Society for Human Resource Management, Academy of Management and she serves on the Advisory Board for the African American Leadership Academy in Columbus, OH. Dr. Campbell is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Girl Friends, Inc., and The National Smart Set.
