b'BOARD NEWS TRUSTEES DIVERSE EXPERTISE CONVERGES TO INFORM STRATEGIC GROWTH The Franklin Board of Trustees is comprised of more than 20 respected business and community leaders. Board members apply their extensive business and professional experience to help guide the direction of the University. Through their leadership and industry insight, Franklin University continues to serve ambitious adult students by adapting to their needs and responding to changes in society, professions and the business community. OFFICERSSTAN PARTLOW ChairElected in January 2023 to a two-year term, Stan Partlow serves as chairof the Board of Trustees. Stan retired from his position of vice president and chief security officer at American Electric Power (AEP) in 2020. Prior to joining AEP, Stan served the law enforcement community for over 25 years, including 21 years with the Columbus Division of Police from which he retired as the commander of the detective bureau and four years as an FBI special agent. Stan has also held teaching positions at Franklin and Capital universities.Stan holds a law degree from Capital University, a masters degree in administration from Central Michigan University, and a bachelors degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University. Stan previously served on the boards Finance and Infrastructure committees.DAVID WHITE 93Vice ChairBoard Vice Chair David White is the senior vice president, Technology Practice for RTI International and previously held the position of CIO at Battelle. David has held various executive-level positions with the state of Ohio, including executive program manager of the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System, director of State Accounting within the Office of Budget and Management, and director of Revenue Management within the Stateof Ohio Treasury.David is a member of the CIO Advisory Board for Box.com, the advisory board of the Columbus African American Leadership Academy, and the COSI Community Board. David attended The Ohio State University, where he studied electrical engineering; Columbus State Community College, where he earned a degree in business administration and Franklin University, wherehe earned a degree in computer management. He serves on the boards Audit, Controlsand Compliance Committee and the Infrastructure Committee.RALPH SANESE 75 SecretaryRalph Sanese is the vice president for Business Development at AVI Food systems and president of Sanese Services, Inc., a family-owned foodservices and vending company. He is a board member of the Simon Kenton Council of the Boy Scouts of America and is active in several other civic organizations. Ralph, a Franklin University alumnus, serves on the Infrastructure Committee and the Human Resources + Advancement 18 Committee.
