About the Physical Therapy Aide Online Professional Certificate
Enter the rewarding field of physical therapy with MedCerts Physical Therapy Aide program. Complete training courses, earn your certification and be qualified for roles managing administrative tasks, like patient intake and documenting patient’s treatment progress, and preparing for patient treatment with tasks including preparing cold and hot packs, setting up and sanitizing treatment areas and equipment. You choose from a variety of work settings including rehab, physical therapy and skilled nursing clinics, hospitals, and training facilities.
You’ll complete four courses over an 18-weeks period and be qualified to take the Physical Therapy Technician/Aide Certification (PTTC) exam, sponsored by the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), and the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam, sponsored by the National Healthcareer Association.
