About the Certified Medical Assistant Online Professional Certificate
Gain the skills to perform both the clinical and administrative duties required in a medical facility. As a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, you’ll have the flexibility to work in any healthcare environment – including hospitals, clinics, outpatient facilities and more – and in many front and back-office roles interacting with patients, assisting doctors, taking medical histories and much more.
Though MedCerts comprehensive online Certified Medical Assistant training you’ll gain the medical knowledge, front and back-office skills, and bedside manner to help patients properly and effectively. The training consists of four courses: Human Anatomy and Medical Terminology, Professionalism in Allied Health, Clinical Medical Assisting, and Medical Office Procedures and Administration.
Upon completion of the training, you will be eligible to take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exams, issued by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). MedCerts covers the cost of all exams.

The curriculum also includes an overview of anatomy and physiology in order to increase the understanding of medical vocabulary.
