Alyssa Darden joined the library team in September 2013 as the Reference and Assessment Librarian, and became the Director of the Library in December 2015. Alyssa’s work involves leading the library to fulfillment of its strategic plan with vision, supportive relationships with faculty and staff, and commitment to making the library a leading enabler of the University's academic strategies.

Marc Jaffy joined the library in July, 2017 as the Acquisitions Librarian and is now the Scholarly Communications and Affordable Learning Librarian as of June, 2022. He is responsible for administering the library's institutional repository (FUSE) . As part of this role he coordinates with faculty, staff and students to highlight the university’s scholarly output. He acts as the library’s copyright point-person, educating the university community on matters of copyright. He also helps administer the university’s etextbook initiative and is responsible for encouraging affordable learning through the use of free library resources and open educational resources in courses.

Kristi Lobrano joined the Franklin University Library in September 2011 as the Systems Librarian. In this role, she administers the Library’s integrated library systems and discovery tools to facilitate library operations and to provide access to information resources. In addition to managing systems, she is energized by patrons’ rapidly changing information needs and technology skills, the opportunities regarding providing library services to these patrons, and the integration of mobile technologies into library services.

Samantha is responsible for overseeing and providing leadership to operational aspects of the Learning Commons including supervising students workers, front of house, and communications. She works collaboratively with Learning Commons leadership to develop, coordinate, and implement strategic directions for the department to ensue the highest quality support for all Franklin University students. Samantha also manages all aspects of Special Collections and Archives including digitization and publishing of historical materials in the library's online repository, FUSE.

Erin Farmer joined the Learning Commons team in May 2023. In her role, she conducts instruction sessions and workshops for students to familiarize them with library resources and how to leverage our resources for success in their research. Additionally, she is responsible for purchasing library content including books, e-books, databases, etc. She also manages and ensures access to our e-resources.

Elisha Teague joined Franklin University in 2012. She has over a decade of higher education experience in the area of student academic support. She currently serves as the Assistant Director, Learning Resources at Franklin University's Learning Commons, where her goal is to empower students to become independent learners. In her role, she is responsible for the planning and implementation of Franklin's academic support programs. For the past seven years, she has focused her attention on providing equitable support to both online and campus-based learners. Elisha also serves as Lead Faculty for the Professional Foundations course.
