New York University

Need 
Having an established global presence, NYU identified a need to expand into the Tokyo market by establishing open-enrollment executive certificate programs in key areas to introduce NYU to Japanese professionals.

Solution
NYU partnered with Franklin University to develop five executive certificate programs.

Results
Franklin University successfully developed a total of twelve face-to-face courses on to satisfy the requirements for three global executive certificate programs in Marketing, Global Hospitality, and Entrepreneurship.

Solution Details

As part of its partnership with New York University’s School of Professional Studies, Franklin University designed the course template that has been utilized for the development of additional certificate programs. 

Franklin University successfully developed twelve face-to-face courses effectively and efficiently so that NYU could launch in advance of their timeline.

  • Content was evaluated and modified post launch.
  • Long-term partnerships were secured.

Ohio Wesleyan University

Need
Ohio Wesleyan University had a need to launch online courses so they could retain students during the summer, when students typically went home. 

Solution
In collaboration with OWU faculty, Franklin University’s instructional design team began developing online content. 

Results
Franklin University designed and developed a total of 29 online courses

Solution Details

Franklin University provided a systematic approach to design that Ohio Wesleyan University faculty are using to improve the outcomes in both face-to-face and online courses.

Franklin University developed undergraduate courses over two phases.

    • 17 courses
    • Face-to-face boot camp for faculty
  • Phase 2
    • 12 courses
    • Online orientation training for faculty and students

Hocking College

Solution Snapshot

Need
Hocking College had a need to launch a learning management system and online courses simultaneously without a great interruption to their existing faculty and staff.

Solution
Franklin University successfully developed a total of 43 online courses on to satisfy the requirements for their undergraduate programs.

Results
Franklin and Hocking faculty collaborated to provide the appropriate level of instruction and rigor for the students.

Solution Details

Based out of rural Ohio, having the ability to provide online instruction to students became a priority for Hocking. Franklin University partnered with Hocking College to design the course template that has been utilized for the development of additional online courses. 

Faculty were also supported by an online course to explore a variety of proven effective instructional practices designed to engage students, increase learning, and improve retention.

Franklin University successfully developed 43 online courses so that Hocking College could launch content on time and with a trained staff.
