Since you can’t finish if you never start, we’ve got that covered too. The Aspire Grant is a limited-availability Franklin University grant offered to a select group of students who begin one of Franklin’s undergraduate degree programs during the Spring 2024 trimester.

What is the Aspire Grant?
Aspire is a $500 non-refundable institutional grant, awarded to undergraduate students who begin their studies at Franklin University during the Spring 2024 trimester.  

How is the grant awarded?
The award is distributed for the Spring 2024 trimester. Funds for this non-refundable institutional grant, will be applied to students’ accounts based on the published disbursement schedule for financial aid grants and scholarships.

Can the Aspire Grant be combined with other tuition assistance options?
The Aspire Grant can be combined with tuition discounts for eligible employees/members of Franklin University’s partner organizations, as well as tuition discounts for students with military affiliations and select discounts through the Community College Alliance Program. Your admissions advisor will help you identify the tuition assistance option that provides you with the greatest cost savings.

Can the Aspire Grant be used for any educational expense?
The Aspire Grant applies to tuition only. Funds for this non-refundable institutional grant, will be applied to students’ accounts based on the published disbursement schedule for financial aid grants and scholarships.

What are the criteria to receive the award?
To take advantage of the Aspire Grant, students must be registered by Feb. 2, and maintain half-time enrollment (6 hours) for the Spring 2024 trimester in any undergraduate degree program. 

Are students who re-enroll at Franklin for the Spring 2024 term eligible for the grant?
Re-enrolling students are eligible for the grant if it has been more than five years since they were last enrolled in a Franklin course.
