Business Office Specialist
Franklin University has a part-time position available for a Business Office Specialist. Responsibilities include: answering student questions related to their account via phone and email, applying payments and charges to student’s accounts and processing book vouchers. In addition, some accounting functions such as: keying journal entries, credit card and book voucher reconciliation and importing payroll entries. Other duties or special projects as needed may be assigned.
The successful candidate will have at least one year experience in accounting, excellent organizational and analytical skills, oral and written communication, and customer service skills are a must. The successful candidate will also be computer literate, with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Proven attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of activity, along with the ability to exercise sound judgment is a must. Hours are Monday - Friday 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Candidates must possess a strong customer-centered philosophy and have or develop an understanding of, and agreement with, Franklin’s relationship management principles and University values.
